Welcome to the WRMS Girls Soccer Season!
Dear Parents and Players,
We’re excited to kick off the new WRMS girls soccer season this Monday, August 11th! We can’t wait to get everyone back on the field, reconnect with returning players, and welcome new faces to the program.
Tryout Week Schedule (August 11th–15th)
• Morning: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• Afternoon: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time. Bring plenty of water, proper soccer gear, and a great attitude.
Team Selection
This first week will serve as tryouts. On Friday, August 15th, we will select a Varsity team of 18 players. A JV team may also be formed, depending on the number of girls who try out and coaching availability.
6th graders are both allowed and encouraged to attend tryouts — this is a great opportunity to train at a higher level and integrate into the WRMS soccer program.
We’ll be looking at effort, teamwork, skill, and coachability as we make selections. Our goal is to create competitive, supportive teams that represent WRMS with pride.
If you have any questions before Monday, feel free to reach out. Let’s make this a fantastic season together!
See you on the field,
Coach Kevin Hansmeyer

Note: All Training Sessions @ WRMS Field; bring to each training session your soccer shoes, shin guards, and your water. Wear a white or gray shirt, dark shorts, and dark socks to training sessions.
JV Soccer is a development team. It does not have a conference schedule. The Magic Valley Conference only has one team per school. The JV season consists of games scheduled with as many teams as we can find.
The contest date, time, and place are subject to change.
