I am so excited to have the art room buzzing with creativity again! We have been busy brightening up our school hallways with art inspired by Peter H. Reynold's book, The Dot. We have had conversations about how we are all artists who can make our school a better place with art. We have also talked about how we should treat each other, the art room, and our supplies with respect. We are off to a great start! Keep an eye out in the school lobby for a large-scale, collaborative art installation made by 5th graders! I am looking forward to continuing to get to know our Kindergarten artists and all of our new students, and watching their confidence grow in the art room!

Every student at Hemingway STEAM School has a free online art portfolio via Artsonia that stays with you until 12th grade (regardless if you move out of state or switch schools locally). Continuing to save your artwork on the Artsonia platform allows you to build a time capsule of how you grow as an artist from year to year. If you are new to EHSS your parent(s)/guardian can expect an invitation email from Artsonia soon. You will need to click the green button in the email to activate your student's portfolio. Feel free to check out our school's Artsonia page!

As always, if you have any questions, want to say hello, or need help saving student artwork, please don't hesitate to email me: drobrahn@blaineschools.org❤️ Miss Danica
