Kelly has received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Colorado and a Masters of Arts degree in Elementary Education, K-8 from Western Governors University. After leaving her home state of Ohio, she focused on owning and operating her own business for over ten years in northern California, where she taught children of all ages how to work with horses. Kelly moved to the Wood River Valley in 2012 and is very excited to be a part of this amazing community by educating and empowering all of the students at Alturas Elementary in her Engineering and Design class. During her free time, Kelly enjoys playing with her son, reading, hiking in the mountains, and riding her horses.
